Mexx is an international fashion brand with an optimistic, modern signature. The brand was founded in 1986 when the labels Moustache and Emanuelle joined forces. The name combines the first letters of both brands with two kisses (XX)—a symbol of positivity and connection.
With Mexx Dutch By Design, the Dutch fashion house embraces a new premium direction that builds upon forty years of heritage. The line represents clothing that looks good without being loud or overbearing. It exudes authenticity, confidence and is created for real life: effortless Dutch understatement translated into clean lines, functionality, and unpretentious style.

Every collection is built around our core categories: denim, tailoring, shirts, and knitwear. These define our standard of craftsmanship and the unmistakable Mexx look—refined, sharp, and relaxed. From design to supply chain: how our teams are structured
Behind the success of Mexx is a driven team working together daily to move the brand forward. Our Managing Director sets the strategic course and defines the path for future development. Guided by this vision, the Digital Brand Manager collaborates with marketing on online visibility, ensuring Mexx maintains a recognisable presence across all digital channels.
Our International Sales Team then brings the brand to the market. Working alongside global retailers and partners, they ensure Mexx is accessible both online and in physical stores worldwide. The foundation of every collection rests with Product Development & Design. This is where the Men’s, Women’s, and Shoes collections come to life, with Garment Technicians closely monitoring fit and quality.
Our Purchasing team manages supplier relations while keeping a close eye on pricing and lead times. Finally, Operations—comprising Order Management and Merchandise—handles inventory control and logistical distribution. Together, these teams build Mexx as an international lifestyle brand.
