As our business continues to grow, we are expanding our Buying Office in Dhaka and are looking for an experienced Merchandiser Knit & Woven. In this role, you’ll be the vital link between our suppliers, factories and colleagues in Europe. You take ownership of your orders, solve challenges before they become problems and ensure every product meets our quality standards before it reaches our customers.

What will you do?

As Merchandiser, you are responsible for managing the complete order process from development to shipment. You coordinate with suppliers, factories and our teams in the Netherlands to ensure products are delivered on time, meet our quality standards and comply with all customer requirements.

Your responsibilities include:

• Managing the day-to-day communication with our European head office, suppliers and factories.
• Following up on orders throughout the entire production process.
• Receiving, measuring and evaluating development and production samples before submitting them for approval.
• Preparing clear and accurate sample comments and follow-up documentation.
• Monitoring production planning and delivery schedules to ensure on-time shipment.
• Visiting factories and suppliers on a regular basis to monitor progress and maintain strong relationships.
• Identifying potential issues early and proactively resolving production challenges together with management and the teams in the Netherlands.
• Monitoring compliance with product safety, quality and sustainability standards, including certifications such as OEKO-TEX®, GOTS, GRS, BCI, RCS, OCS and CmiA.
• Reporting to the Merchandising Manager and supporting the continuous improvement of our sourcing and merchandising processes.

What do you bring?

We’re looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership and knows how to balance quality, planning and communication in a fast-moving sourcing environment.

You bring:

• 7-8 years of experience as a Merchandiser within Knit and Woven garments.
• Experience working with European customers or buying offices.
• A background in garments, textiles or buying houses.
• Experience with merchandising, production follow-up and quality assurance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
• A proactive mindset and the ability to work independently.
• The confidence to solve problems and make decisions while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and colleagues.
