An interim assignment focused on Corporate Responsibility, with a hands-on role in supply chain and inventory management.

For HVEG Brands, we are looking for temporary support, with an important focus on Bamboo Basics. In this broad assignment, you will work on Corporate Responsibility for Bamboo Basics, Brams Paris and Maison de Paris, alongside supply chain and inventory management for Bamboo Basics.

You will take on a range of CR topics while also ensuring that day-to-day operations around inventory and repeat orders stay on track. This means combining execution, analysis and improvement. You will join an environment where processes are already in place, with room to further structure and improve the way we work.

What will you do?

The assignment consists of two key areas: Corporate Responsibility and supply chain-related activities.

Corporate Responsibility

You will take on various Corporate Responsibility topics within HVEG Brands, with Bamboo Basics, Brams Paris and Maison de Paris as the main areas of focus.

Customers are asking more and more questions about legislation, certifications, product information and the supply chain. At the same time, we are expanding into new markets and working with several large customers, each with their own requirements. You will determine what is needed and translate this into concrete and workable actions within the organisation.

You will be part of HVEG Group’s Global CR Team and work on topics including:

• the B Corp project, certifications, Transaction Certificates, Carbonfact, reduction plans, ESG and CR objectives;
• current and upcoming legislation, including PPWR, EPR and ECGT, as well as specific requirements for countries and customers such as Zalando;
• supply chain mapping, risk assessments, test reports and amfori BSCI and BEPI assessments of factories;
• customer questions relating to CR, compliance and legislation, while anticipating future requirements wherever possible;
• innovation plans, donations and partnerships with charities and ANBI foundations.

There are still several steps to take within CR at HVEG Brands level. You will therefore have the opportunity to explore topics in more detail, bring structure and initiate improvements. This could include, for example, researching nominated suppliers for packaging.

Supply Chain & Inventory Management

Within this part of the assignment, the focus is on the existing Bamboo Basics collection, ensuring effective inventory management, managing repeat orders and adjusting purchasing in a timely manner.

You analyse inventory levels and identify where shortages or excess stock may arise, which products are moving more slowly and which items are being phased out. Based on these insights, you prepare purchasing proposals and align them with the CFO.

In addition, you will:

• manage and place repeat orders and maintain close contact with our colleagues in China and partners in Turkey;
• monitor shipments and incoming orders and stay in close contact with our logistics department and warehouse in ’s-Heerenberg;
• manage specific customer and SMU orders for customers including Bever, AS Adventure, Sliponline and Fashcom, and support the processing of EDI orders;
• take a critical look at current purchasing processes and contribute ideas for more efficient and future-proof ways of working.

What do we offer?

A broad interim assignment in which you will take on responsibility from the start while contributing to the further professionalisation of HVEG Brands and Bamboo Basics.

• A temporary assignment for at least 32 hours per week;
• An initial assignment of at least 4 months, starting on 1 December;
• An hourly rate between €65 and €75 excluding VAT, depending on your experience and background;
• A broad role at the intersection of Corporate Responsibility, supply chain and inventory management;
• Collaboration with different teams within HVEG Brands and HVEG Group’s Global CR Team;
• Based in

What do you bring?

We are looking for someone who can easily switch between analysis, coordination and substantive CR topics. You do not need to be a specialist in every area. However, experience in Corporate Responsibility or ESG is important, as you will independently take ownership of several ongoing topics and move them forward.

• You have experience in Corporate Responsibility or ESG; this is a must;
• Experience in purchasing, supply chain and/or inventory management is a strong plus;
• You can analyse inventory data and translate insights into concrete purchasing actions;
• You work independently and practically and can keep an overview of multiple topics and deadlines;
• You communicate easily with different internal and external stakeholders;
• You are confident working with Excel and have experience with ERP systems, preferably Business Central (BC365).
